It's a Bean kind of day

Hey all. I here it's going to be a hot hot week so make sure to keep cool. And speaking of Sunshine, there's a new Bean being featured over at the TGF Blog today. Did you know that previews began yesterday for the September release. Yup! they sure did :) So if you want a chance at winning head on over there.

In the meanwhile, I thought I'd give you a recap of the latest two Beans. Just in case you haven't picked them up yet, you can go ahead and add them your cart when you buy up the newest Bean on September 1st,

I created a couple of Birthday cards. I was inspired by my fellow farmer team mate Kelli from her Golden Reto Post. I just love the clean look with the circles and white background.  So I just added my twist with the butterflies and sparkle to make it my own.

Angry Ballerina

Happy Friday Night! Just quickly sharing a card I created with my Kraftin Kimmie Angry Ballerina. I soooo heart her. She reminds me a lot of my nieces and I mean a lot. I actually call my youngest niece angry ballerina when she's pouting and she'll know what I'm talking about. Some people just can't help being moody. Lol!

However when creating this card, I had my bff in mind. She's a moody adult and we've had our differences but in the end we find a way to make up. This is why I love this sentiment, "Best Friends" from Graphicat Designs, it fits perfectly.

FFF: Paper Piecing

Hey all! It is Friday today and that means the beginning to a rager weekend. Lol, oh I wish. I havent had one of those in quite some time. Nope it looks like its going to be a very calm one. :D

Onto to the post, it is indeed Friday and so we have a new Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm blog. The theme is Paper Piecing. I like this technique because it allows you to add fun patterns to the clothing, something I couldn't do by just coloring.

For my first card, I used the new Do Si Do Anya. I chopped off her braids to give a slightly more grown up look. I think it absolutely suits her!! I used the Aeryn's Sketch we have over at the SCS Greeting Farm Forum. The basics are there I just went a little overboard with the flowers. :)

For my second card I used Cuddle Anya (who i believe has been retired). This is a Congrats card for a new baby girl that is long overdue.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you play along and Happy Happy Friday!

How I Store my Images

Hey All. Today was my Showcase Day over at The Greeting Farm. I decided to show you all how I store my stamped images and digis. Grab a cuppa because there's loads of images.

When I started stamping, my crafting space was very tiny so everything needed to be put away or else my area would look like a tornado hit it.  Due to that, when I would get my new stamps I would stamp a couple of images at the same time. I would do the same for my digis, I would print out a whole sheet at a time whether I needed them or not. Well that kind of got out of control and it took me a while to finally find a system that I was happy with.

And here is my system :) I bought a small binder (9.25x7.75) from Staples along with the accompanying dividers and clear sleeves. On the insides of the binder (front and back) it has pockets for you to add little floaters. Be warned that this bulks up but it has helped me keep everything organized.

At the beginning of my binder is my Greeting Farm section. I divided them all up in groups (Anya, Miss Anya, OA, Creepers, ets) To make my envelopes look pretty and to make a dent into the images that I have already stamped and/or colored, I added the image from the group to the accompanying envelope. So as you can see my first envelope holds all my Anyas and Ians and I added one of my faves, Stamping Anya as the cover to the envelope. Before adding some cover images, I had labeled all the envelopes with post-it notes (seen there)  **Note that I'm not finished decorating it all**

My Greeting Farm section

These are shots of some of my other envelopes with images from other companies such as Tickled Pink Stamps and Saturated Canary. Also I added the clear sleeves at the back of the binder. In the sleeves I added bigger images that I had printed out as well as some strays.

Now, I'm finally organized with a bit more space and so I no longer need to print or stamp out excessive images. I now have my image binder on my desk and ready for me to scrap away. And boy do I need to scrap away, I def need to make a dent into that thing because it's starting to bulge out too much. lol

Here is my card created from my madness using the uber new adorable Anya Do Si Do

A Few Birthdays with The Greeting Farm and Tickled Pink

Hey All!! I'm here with a very late Wednesday post. I apologize for that but I was under the weather for a while and I thought I was all better but it seems like that lasted for about a day. Eeesssh! Here's hoping for a better tomorrow :)

Today began a brand new Retro Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm Blog. The theme is The Golden Hour. That means use the colors Orange, Yellow and Baby Blue. I created a birthday card using the adorable Flutter Anya. I just adore this Anya because she looks great in all sorts of colored hair and that is one thing I love to do.

Hopefully you can play along with us this month and remember that you must use a Greeting Farm image (rubber or digi) that is at least 6 months old. Make sure you hop on over to the TGF Blog to check out the awesome retro creations from my farm sisters.

I'm submitting this card to:
Designed To Color - Washi Tape
Designed To ColorTheme Week, Day 6: Make Believe/Fantasy

Also, this week Tickled Pink Stamps is proudly sponsoring Creative Inspirations where the challenge is Anything Goes. I used Lil Pinkette Coraline for my very pink birthday card :)

As always, some of the Pink Ladies and Pinkettes are playing along to help inspire you to join in the fun for a chance to win some Tickled Pink goodness. Make sure you hop on over to the TPS Blog to check it out.

Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring Stamptacular Sunday

Happy Sunday!! This week Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. The challenge is to create a project inspired by the eerily fabulous image below. Doesn't it just scream the "Headless Horseman". Oooooh spooky, Lol. So as you can see, time is zooming by and Halloween is just around the corner.

Here is my take on the challenge. I created my first Halloween card of the year using Lil Haunts Frankie Frankenstein. I am also using my brand new matstack from DCWV named Betwitched. Yes ladies, new Halloween and Fall stacks are already available for purchase. This beauty can be found at Joanns.

All paper used is DCWV, including the card base.
I used the August Card Sketch for the DCWV Stack-a-holics Challenge.
Sentiment is from Crafty Sprouts, Totally Witchin' set.

Make sure you hop on over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to check out what the rest of the Pink Ladies and Pinkettes created. Hopefully you can play along, there are some Tickled Pink digis to be won :)

FFF: Can you "Digi" it?

Hey all. It's a new Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. I'm the hostess for the week and I chose digis for the them. I know that we all love our rubber and clear stamps but i thought our digis deserved some love as well. The great things about digis (aside from their lower cost) they are instant. You can have your brand new images within minutes to color up. Plus, I also love the size of digis (meaning you don't have to just stick to a 2x3 size but blow up your image like I did.

I decided to spruce up a Kraft bag and a few summer things in there to gift to my niece. I used the adorable pirate couple, Matey Ian and Matey Anya because she's a Pirates of the Caribbean fan. She can pretend she is Anya and Ian is her Jack Sparrow. Lol.

I hope you can play along and make sure you pop on over to the TGF Blog to check out the rest of the digi creations. Thanks for stopping by!
